What: Tickets range from $40 to $250 to see one of the biggest race meets with three group one races. The Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup Day is billed as a day full of fashion and fun.

Where: Pop-up Globe, Bard’s Yard, 38 Greys Avenue, Auckland
What: Save for tempestuous weather, The Tempest will be playing twice and Romeo and Juliet twice over the weekend in the pop-up replica of London’s the Globe theatre, with tickets starting at $10 up to $990 for a group of six.

What: The market day has a range of shops opening up special displays, as well as stalls with crafts, jewellery, home and fashion items. Plus, try some of the local restaurant’s delicacies, new cocktails, fancy cakes and much more.

What: As part of Auckland Arts festival, White Night is a one night art event run across 100 venues and locations. Galleries and creative spaces are open late and art activity fills the city. It is a free cultural event with expansive choices from visual art, illuminations, theatre, film, design, performances on display, as well as visits behind the scenes to artists’ studios.
