Please join me in being ridiculously excited about the fact that this coming February, Paramore are heading back to NZ for the first time in more than 4 whole years!!
On February 13th, Kiwis will be blessed with seeing their fave genre defying band live again as they hit the Spark Arena stage once more.
Following their last Auckland show, I recall telling anyone who would listen how it had been the best day of my entire life thus far, and there’s absolutely no doubt that the fourth leg of their world tour supporting their latest (and arguably best) album After Laughter will live up to all of the expectations that their last trip down under left us with.
After Laughter shows Paramore in a whole new light, touching on issues that clearly hurt frontwoman Hayley Williams to perform, while being presented in a way that makes you want to dance. The band has always been sincere, but their latest collection of music showcases a true understanding of emotional pain and what it means to have to endure it. With the recent release of the likes of Hard Times, 26 and Fake Happy, the crowd will get to join Hayley, Zac, and Taylor in singing back/crying over the most heartfelt lyrics Hayley has ever written, while simultaneously getting down to the catchy beats.
With it being their only NZ show, there will be no second chance to get amongst this cry/dance party, and there’s no way you’ll want to miss out on what this band has to offer. They only ever put their all into their live performances, and I am sure that you’ll leave the venue feeling exactly as I did back in 2014. Let Paramore give you the best day of your life.
Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster, and include package options for early entry GA and best seats in the arena. Whoo!
