Australia’s answer to post-hardcore is set to return to New Zealand this July in support of their upcoming album This Could Be Heartbreak.

The Amity Affliction were last in our country as part of the Big Ass Tour, where they found themselves supporting A Day to Remember at their show in Auckland in December 2015. Their ability to engage the Auckland crowd throughout every part of the set has given them enough of a platform to return less than two years later to play shows in not only Auckland, but Christchurch, and Wellington as well.

2016 saw TAA spending the winter avoiding the cold spells and travelling around Europe for festival season where the quality of their live performances will have no doubt have improved as a result of the experience. Thankfully, we have just over a month until they’re back on our shores to show off what the insane festival scene has taught them, and to play us some of their latest (and greatest) material. The band is well known for their uninhibited lyrics that approach issues such as mental health that cause their fans to feel a very personal connection with each of the members – their live shows only strengthen this connection, and if you are a fan, this isn’t an opportunity you’ll want to miss out on.

General admission and VIP meet & greet tickets for Christchurch and Auckland are now available through
Ticketmaster.
Tickets for Wellington are now available through the San Fran website.
