Fans of teenage pop sensations are in luck as it looks like 15 year-old international pop-phenom Billie Eilish will land in our fair shores for her first live show on this side of the world this September. The preternaturally talented teenager will play an intimate show at The Tuning Fork on the 11th of September

This announcement comes on the heel of the announcement of her first jaunt across the US and the release of brand new track ‘Bellyache’, continuing the count down to her highly anticipated debut EP release dont smile at me.

Speaking about the new song Eilish said, “This song is from the perspective of me towards me.”

Earlier this month, she played her first ever UK show to a completely sold-out crowd, so tickets to her debut New Zealand date are sure to go fast.

Nylon Magazine hailed her as “the future”, Vogue called her “Pop’s next ‘It’ Girl,” and i-D called her “one of pop’s most promising talents”.

Does she deserve the hype? We can soon make up our minds for ourselves – she’s coming to New Zealand.
