Following the success of the Prismatic Tour that hit NZ shores at the end of 2014, it is no surprise that tickets to the August 20th date of Katy Perry’s Witness Tour next year have flown out of the door before the general sale has even started.
With pre-sale tickets to the first show completely selling out, Katy has added a second date at Auckland’s Spark Arena on August 21st.
The tour has been described as being “an imaginative trip from outer-space to inner-space”, and based on her previous tours – that have boasted props such as giant blow-up poop emojis and life-size mechanical animals to name just a few – the show is bound to be a theatrical spectacle to remember. Rolling Stone described the Prismatic Tour as “a show to damage retinas and blow minds”, and with more time, more money, and a whole new album to work with, the Witness Tour will only take this to new heights. With a stage that is set to cover half of the arena, there will be no such thing as a bad seat, and every member of the audience – from front to back – will surely be ~witness~ to something glorious.
Spark Arena, Auckland
August 20th and 21st 2018
Pre-sale tickets to the newly announced date are on sale via Ticketmaster now.
