It’s about a month until we get to welcome Fleet Foxes back to New Zealand – and I don’t know about you, but I’ve already wept my way through their entire discography about three times in preparation for what is sure to be the best musical event of my life.
Ahead of the announcement that the show will be moved to Mt. Eden’s treasure, The Powerstation, it has also been announced that Tiny Ruins will be opening the evening with a solo set. Led by Auckland-based Hollie Fullbrook, Tiny Ruins are beloved for their tender ballads, and have been soaring to success with recent collaborations with Hamish Kilgour (The Clean) and David Lynch (Twin Peaks). Tiny Ruins’ third album is set for release in mid-2018.
