Aussie pop-indie singer-songwriter Amy Shark is returning to New Zealand after the success of her 2017 Night Thinker Tour for her largest headline tour yet, the Love Monster Tour.
Amy will play Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington this September!
Before the release of her debut album, Love Monster was sitting at the #1 spot on iTunes and #2 on the Shazam Top 100 AU which makes her the highest-charting Australian act since 2016. The beautiful video for her single I Said Hi from the debut album has been released, co-directed by Shark (with Nick Waterman), watch it on youtube here:
Her success just continues to grow, with her breakout single Adore going 3x platinum with over 60 million streams globally, and resulting in Shark being awarded a APRA award. In 2017 she was won two ARIA awards: Best Pop Release and Breakthrough Artist, and her debut EP Night Thinker smashed through the charts, earning placing in the Top 10 on iTune in 15 countries. All this success has seen the Aussie act on the stage of The Late Late Show with James Cordon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
You know, just to name some of her achievements so far…
Shark has already toured extensively through Europe and North America this year, with sold out shows in a number of major cities. Shark has explained that she is excited to share the new music with fans, but not to worry as she will also be playing her favourite from her beloved EP Night Thinker.
With all this being said, you don’t want to miss out on seeing this pop-indie icon when she is in New Zealand for three nights!
