Following the release of lead single, Bubblin’, comes the groovy, sun-splashed second single from Anderson .Paak’s latest album, Oxnard Tints. The track is comprised of the much-adored collaboration between Paak and Kendrick Lamar, which is a duo that I can only describe as fuckin’ perfection. Also, we finally have a release date for Oxnard — November 16th (which Paak announced on Complex’s Open Late with Peter Rosenberg)!

It’s easy to see how Dr. Dre birthed such an incredible protégé — .Paak is one of a kind and has proved that again with his ability to surprise and delight us with the release of Tints. The tune embodies the same kind of freedom that .Paak exudes both on his albums and during his live performances, and tells us that he’s ready to dance his way back into our consciousness — “I’ve been feelin’ kind of cooped up, cooped up.”

The track has already inspired a dance challenge and is a sweet look at what we’ll be getting from Oxnard — more slick bops, smooth lyricism and funky riffs.
